Gambian culture is so diverse and wide that the various ethnic groups are truly represented through language, food, sound, dance and of course, ‘Fashion’. African fashion will continue to be the most vibrant of all, and Gambia, with traces that encompass the cultures and traditions of surrounding countries such as Senegal, Mauritania, Guinea, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Mali, represent a whole large amount of the proud rich fashion vigour of the sunshine continent.

Live traditional music (made out of SeneGambian instruments) will transport parts of the fashion exhibition and contest. London-based famous and growing artists will lead the musical entertainment bill through the three-night show. Traditional cum acrobatic dance sessions as well as a styled beauty pageant will paint the event in their own exclusive colour.
A number of London’s famous fashion designers and fashion models will attend the event as special guests.
One of the main goals of this event is to raise awareness about the fantastic work being done within our community, and creating good platforms for our upcoming young designers.
